If you were looking for local demographic info for your area for market
research, I would talk to the local Chamber of Commerce.  Our Chamber for
our area has stats on everything in a nice little folder for prospective new
business owners.  I haven't picked mine up yet but she had all the info on
population, schools, hospitals, etc....basically she had a folder full of
potential clients for me. Good luck.
