Magic Mike writes: There have been some recent discussions about how to carry pre-inflated balloons. I recently had a gig to create balloon hats for 1,000 children at a reading books kick-off activity. I pre-blew 2,000 balloons and had several helpers 'carry' packets of balloons to groups of children. Teaching time per group was only about 5 minutes. Everyone got a hat, no children or parents were unhappy, lines were almost non existant, the sponsors were very pleased, no end of line blues, lots of funny creations, low stress and lots of fun.

Placing pre-inflated balloons in large plastic bags helps to keep the balloons organized by color. This method also slows down the oxidation and decomposition rate of the inflated balloons, by isolating them from the air and fluxuations in humidity.
Placing pre-inflated balloons to keep them organized is nothing new. Any balloon drop is essentially comprised of a bag of pre-inflated balloons, which is put in place and then left un-distrurbed until distribution (drop) time.
