Back in February in Austing at T&JAM 2001, we were all enchanted by Ralph Dewey's grandson. 'Baby Dewey' proved to be a capable balloon twister, in the biz "Since 2000", according to his business card.

Now, Terrie Basko reports seeing Ralph's mom, Virgie Dewey, at the 2001 FCM conference. Apparently Virgie successfully proved her own twisting prowess by creating her first balloon dog.

While Balloon HQ is honored to have Ralph Dewey as a featured monthly columnist, we just have to wonder... will this month's column "Creations from the Heart [Balloons]" be followed by "Putting your Family to Work for Fun and Profit" in September? Perhaps Ralph and Patrick Brown should collaborate on material next month. After all, Patrick's August column does report on "The Family Show"!
