Title: Lighting the Way

Artist Notes: This 15 ft. lighthouse was a 1/4 scale replica of the Lyons
Club of Long Beach 62 ft. lighthouse. It was used for the ground breaking
ceremonies. Around 900 to 1000 balloons of various sizes were attached to
chicken wire, SDS Flex Panels, and lots of 1/4 in. rod. The light on the
top of the lighthouse actually worked when the Mayor of Long Beach steped
on a switch.
