Hello friends,

My heart goes out to all the families in New York and Washington, and
the families of those on the flights. Many LA people were on those
planes.

My event last night was cancelled and my events on Thurs & Fri are
cancelled but I am getting ready for my event tonight and I hope I'll be
able to make a difference in the lives of the kids and parents who visit
me every week. If not a balloon sculpture then maybe a hug from the
clown will make a difference.

When the earthquakes strike here we know what to do - Heart Throb heads
for the nearest shelter with her balloons. We are organizing a blood
drive next week at the Family Festival because the need for blood is
ongoing.

We entertainers may have a very important role in the recovery by
helping people begin to laugh again.
