Thanks Lauren, I'm glad you like the idea.  We incorporated the donation
idea last year, and Jeff on his website suggests that we do it either way.

We aren't doing a hard sell on donations, and in fact, last year when
someone wanted to donate, we actually sent them over to Kiwanis person who
was in charge of the donation jar so it would be clear that the main point
was to spread cheer and if they felt like it, they could donate.  We had
many people who didn't.

I think there will be more of a focus on the charity this year but we will
still be explaining to everyone what the main purpose of BAW is.  Thanks
again Jeff - great idea.
