Subject: Balloons Around the World

Hello from Alaska!

The wonderful thing about Balloons Around the World is that people get to
choose how they wish to make their donation. Whether it be to a local
charity, the American Red Cross, or for kids in the library down the
street, it's the act of giving that we spotlight. And we each give in our
own different way, which is great!

Personally, I love to do both, twisting for free on the street to people
who don't expect it, and donating my services to worthy causes. Whichever
way one wishes to tie it into BAW is great!

As Mark N. alluded to, the donation of our twisting abilities can help
showcase us as performers and help draw attention to ourselves, which is
GREAT, since we are doing something positive and the more attention there
is given to people who are doing something positive, the more people can be
inspired by selfless acts of giving. Was that a run-on sentence or what!
