Hello everyone,
I know there have been several requests for a twisted American Flag
recently. I would like to suggest a different approach. It is simple to
create and looks marvelous. The solution I came up with (I don't know if
I was the first) is glue dots. Yes these incredible little dots enable
you to create an American flag that looks great. I used fully inflated
Red and white 350qs for the bottom stripes and Blue 350Qs inflated about
1/2 full with a double pinch twist to connect them to the red or white
350Qs for the upper stripes. Then I use the balloon glue dots to connect
the balloons together. I used about 8 dots on each side of the stripes to
hold them firmly together. This creates a flag about 3 x 5 ft. You could
use 260Qs to make a smaller version. The stars can be made from 160Qs or
white stick on stars (availble at local craft shop) work well too! It's
not the technique but the final result that we are looking for! Make one
for your window at work or a wall decoration. God bless America and all
our balloon friends.
Best of luck,
