I have learned lots for the ideas posted here that I wanted to share my idea
for carrying balloons. It has combined many of the Great Twisters tidbits
and combined them (I will try to credit where possible and apologize for
those I forgot or failed to acknowledge).

I purchased a bright yellow plastic toolbox at Sears - 19x8x8 (give or take
the fractions). I removed the divider it comes with and replaced it with
ornament box dividers (similar to Lee Brusa's set up in a huge box) as 3 down
& 5 across - the 5th being 2 sections.

I got all the same color balloons and folded them in half and placed inside
the divider for the one at a time dispensing (awesome tip from I don't
remember who)

I sorted & labeled the colors similar to the Bruce Kalver approach but did:
     160's 350's bee bodies clear balls (I
love the ball
in balloon trick)

blues*/gray orange/blk/ylw red/green pink/purple see below
(*lt & dark)

brown/white metallics hearts pk/rd hearts misc
markers/tools

I loved Bruce's idea about pet tags. On one side of the 2 labels put
together with an elastic in between has: The pet belongs to: XXX On the
other is my information. I attached an adhesive wall hook to the side of the
middle row and hang my tags there - no more loose & tangled tags. Also in
that section are my business cards and the great (Marvin Hardy created I
think) tool with a blade and a point for popping that hooks to your belt.

I wrapped a soda can in decorative paper to hold up the top of the tool box
so it gives more working space.

Bruce also mentions (in Professional Portfolio for Balloon Artists) how to
constantly market your business even on tools (he embellished his pump). I
cut out, mounted and mod podged (like a glue type glaze) color graphics and
placed them ALL over (tactfully) this bright yellow box - including the
company name & number. People KNOW I'm coming!

Lastly, I attached a pair of scissors with a LONG string to the hole used for
the lock.

I used this box four times this weekend. This worked so well for me I wanted
to pass it on. It's light, compact and BRIGHT. People see it and read it.

OK - now I have a question: with the wealth of resources available, can
someone direct me to Marvin Hardy's woven champagne glass directions? (AKA I
can't read my notes from T&S)

Keep happy and twisted
