I wanted to share with you my experience with the balack and decker pump that has been on the list over the past several days. I actually had mine with me at T&S in Peabody. I don't know if anyone saw it, but I was the lone Asian person at the convention. If there were other asians there, I apologize in advance. The pump can be bought for about $20 on sale at any black and decker outlet. I have made a few modifications to mine. What you get in the package is a pump, charger, and 2 "silver" batteries. You can buy the "gold" versapak batteries, which last much longer. What I did to the pump was the following: 1) I bought a "camelbak" backpak, which fits the pump like a glove. The backpak is small and fits tight across your back. 2) I bought some plastic tubing from Home Depot and extened the nozzle so that it comes out about 3 to 4 feet. You can even manipulate it to run down your shirt to inflate balloons like Spiderman. (although I don't do it myself). 3) Bought a on/off switch and some wiring from Radio Shack and extened the switch about as long as the air nozzle. The length allows you to place the switch anywhere you want. The pump is very quiet and can easily take you through a 3 hour shift of continious twisting. It's the only pump that I use. The pump is great by itself, but with a few slight modifications, it looks very unique and professional. Insulated in the backpak, the pump is quiet enough to use in even the most tranquil restaurants. It's really worth the $20 or $30 investment. Well, that's my experience with the pump. Hope that this helps.
