Subject: Red Nose Day in the UK.

This is a monumentous occassion for me as I am about to post an idea (my
first) I came up with last night for Red Nose day here in the U.K.

It takes 2 previously known designs and puts them together. It is by no
means meant to be an original idea and I take no credit for it other than
the fact that it may help donations to worthwhile causes on Red Nose day,
Friday 16th March.

First, create your red nose by inflating the tip of a red 260 about 1 inch.
tie one knot to secure the bubble and another knot (the anchor knot) 1 inch
down from the first. Discard the rest of the balloon.

Next, inflate a white 260 leaving approx 6 inches. Secure the nose to the
end of the white with a 1 inch tulip twist. Then all that remains is to
twist the white 260 into the usual teddy bear.

Voila !! A white bear with a comic relief, red nose.

You can use other colours for the bear, but the nose really stands out
against the white.

Our post room messenger will be going around our building on Friday
collecting donations. I will donate these bears to him to give away to
people who donate generously.

Hope this is of use.

Sean.
