Seen some good answers to this one so far ... but for heaven's sake, someone SHOULD have forewarned you!

You were enough of a pro to come through but (a) it was not fair to you to let you find out by utter surprise, and (b) you could no doubt have thought of so many little touches that would have made Mom and growd gasp at the beauty of your thought (make a balloon angel, bring one helium balloon and let it float away outside, etc.)
