Dear group:
I'm wondering if any of you have this problem. I twist with my left
wrist only, and hold the balloon with my right hand. Usually after a long
weekend of many balloon gigs, my left wrist is sore. It hurts along the top
part of my wrist, just soreness, and I can't lean on it. I don't think it's
carpal tunnel, because I've heard that's more of a shooting pain and numbness
throughout the arm. It seems like it's been bothering me more lately. I
wouldn't worry so much about it except that I'm also a pianist, and between
that and balloons, my hands are a pretty important part of my livelihood. Do
any of you switch twisting hands, or do wrist stretches, or anything like
that? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jen in Vegas (wrubbing her wrist in pain)
