Lisa,
We have come up with a fairly simple formula for figuring out how many
entertainers we need at any given event. This is an average we have found over
many years of entertaining...
1 entertainer per hour per 100 people
That means that if you want to give them both facepainting and balloons and
there are (for example) 500 people (total) then you will need 5 man-hours of
facepainting and 5 man-hours of balloon twisting. You could then decide how
you want to split up that amount such as 2 facepainters and 2 twisters at 2.5
hours each or 1 each for the full 5 hours etc.
We came up with this formula because even though you probably couldn't do 100
faces or figures in the hour, not all of them are kids, not all of them will
want facepainting/balloons, maybe even some ofthe adults will want in on the
fun.
