Why do so many people insist on building their own pirate copies of 
pumps?  By the time you get hold of plans, buy your own parts, and go 
through the headaches and sweat of building one, you'd have been better off 
spending a few extra bucks and buying one that has already been tested, 
re-tested, and perfected by a master craftsman!  Not to mention that if it 
breaks, they'll even fix them for next to nothing!
