One question I have is: what is your relationship to your fellow twister (who gave you the referral)? If this is someone you work with a lot or is a REALLY close friend, an honorarium might not be necessary, although it's almost never a bad idea. If not, then I would say that you SHOULD give them something, to let them know that you are a decent person and that you appreciate what they did. When I have had referrals, they tended to be a "trading favors type" of deal, since I often refer shows to my friends. But if I paid them, it tended to be 10-20% of the fee (i.e.: $150.00 fee = $15-30.00). In any event, it's your call as to what to do and pay (or not). Hope this give you a little more info. Good luck. Dave Stephens "Mr. Smiles The Clown"
