        For those of you who didn't go to WRCA, you missed a LOT!!! It was 
not just for clowns either. We arrived on Sunday afternoon, and in addition 
to the multiple of balloon classes offered on Tuesday, there were balloon 
jams starting on Sunday every night until Wednesday. They may have even 
jammed AFTER the banquet. We had to leave because of jobs the next day. But 4 
solid days of jamming was GREAT!
        Our new friend from Palo Alto, Raul Gonzalez, rode with us from Vegas 
to Laughlin. WHAT A GREAT TWISTER!!!!!! ( and super nice and smiling all the 
time as well). And he has only been doing it 1 year!!! Look him up at 
TJam2001 or where ever else he goes. This is a young man who has FABULOUS 
talent!!!!
        Chris Hayes from San Diego, ( the sofa is all ready for you. Get your 
gambling money ready too!) Fred Harshberger (I still owe you some balloons 
from the competition), Ken Stillman, Wally, Butterscotch, Charm ( HI Carmen! 
Ready to move now??), Pat in the Hat and Lord of Latex (Hi Sister Amy) were 
some really nice people we met and re-met and jammed with. What fun!!!
        The balloon classes were a great asset as well. Sammy T, Fred, Pat 
and Ken's classes were a wonderful opportunity to learn some marvelous 
balloons from people who really knew their stuff and how to teach!! It was 
great to see such talented people up there.
        We are going to jam again in Las Vegas on Wednesday, November 15. It 
would be nice to see some of the locals and recent transplants show up. It 
will be at 8:00 PM at Roxy's Diner at the Stratosphere Hotel Casino. They 
have a non-smoking are ready for us. (Randy they will be happy to see you 
again!) Hope you can make it and join us in jamming and fun!!
