I am not a balloon decorator, so you may wish to discount this.  I have a
book: The art, Craft and business of balloon decorating, by ruth younger,
which I bought to learn to just the arches for my daughters Birthday. The
book itself is not all that and does not live up to the write up, but I
did learn to do arches and columns from it. 

I got mine from Amazon.com. If you buy it, try and found one of those 10
% off or free shipping deals because, the book is not worth the price
they charge, . I myself would pop the money for the video tape from one
of the balloon companies, I see most of them run $75 a tape. 

Just my thoughts on the subject, but  then I am not a decorator, so take
it for what it is worth.
