Here's why: 1) The cost savings isn't much. My last tapes from Polyvinyl were $1.08 for 30 minute tapes (5 and 15 are also available for less $$$.) That's not bad. 2) The quality of the cheap off-brand tapes is questionable 3) The impression one gets when receiving a tape for the proper length, professionally recorded, does influence a buyers decision. Myabe not much, but I think every *little* step toward professionalism adds up to a lot when all is said and done. >> Frank, You may end up paying more for short tapes.
