not really know where to start. I have read the FAQ
on restaraunt twisting but it has only confused me. I
am hearing some people say just carry in some balloons
and make a creation or two as a customer and some
others saying that doing this is one of the worse
things to do. Where should I start? Also, What
should be in a press kit? I really need to build mine
up and I am curious as to what I need to put in it.
 Thanks Everyone,

This is going to be one of the topic in my lecture at Twist and Shout. Here
are a few starting ideas:

Do your homework and check out restaurants that could use your talent. Make
sure it's a restaurant that could really use you. Think about WHY they need
you.

Being a busy place is not the only criteria. See if there is room for you.
Are the tables really tight together? Are you going to get in the way of the
servers?

When you find a place, call first and ask for the General Manager NOT ANY
OTHER MANAGER. It's the General Manager who makes the decisions.

These are VERY BUSY PEOPLE. Don't pass in 35 pages of long local articles
about you. Develop a simple brochure that says in a consise way that you are
a professional that works hard and enhances any place that you appear.

That should get you started.

See you all in New England (very cold now...bundle up) at Twist and Shout!

Bruce (since the weather changed everyone is requesting balloon snowmen)
