There were different cows, some one balloon versions, and involving a heart balloon as a snout. I think if you would check out the twister`s list archives on BHQ, you`ll find some answers there. Here`s a 260-cow, but I`m not that happy with it. However, in those rare occasions I get a request for a cow, it does the trick First, inflate a white 260 and leave about 5 inches of tail. Start with a tulip twist of about 2 inch, then make a 1 inch pinch twist. This is the head. Take a black 260 scrap of about 2 or 3 inches, and fill with air without inflating. Toe off , fold in half ans insert behind the pinch twist. These are the horns. Now, make a short bubble for the neck. Then a 3 inch, lock-twisted double bubble for the front legs (doggie legs). Now twist a 2 inch bubble , a .75 inch bubble, another .75 inch bubble and another two inch bubble. Lock twist the two inch bubbles together and pinch twist the .75 bubbles. Then twist them in half. This assembly is the ....what`s that word...udder ?...well, you know, the part where the milk comes out , and I don`t mean the `carton` or the `bottle`... Okay... complete the body with a 2 inch bubbles...make sure the above mentioned milk producing thingamagig is facing down. Up would be very inconvenient for both the farmer and the little-cows-another-word-I-don`t-seem-to-remember-at-the-moment. Make two more legs (doggie legs) with a 3 inch lock-twisted double bubble. Make a small bubble to hold up the hind legs, and deflate the rest. Tie off, but do nit cut off, The deflated balloon is the tail. Draw on some spots with a black marker... I did do a spur of the moment cartoon cow on one occasion...hope I remember this right, since I did this only once, but feel free to elaborate on this idea. Inflate a brown 260 and leave 5 inch tail... Make a 3 inch bubble, a 1 inch bubble, pinch twisted, another 3 inch bubble and lock twist to the first. Make another 3 inch bubble and roll through. Do this one more time, and you have a four-bubble birdbody with a pinch twist on top. This is part of the head. In the long `neck`, make a 1 inch bubble and a double 1 inch pinch twist. This is where you can later attach the arms or front legs Inflate a pink 6inch heart and attach to the base of the head. Make a double bubble with a scrap of white, and attach between the pinch twist on top and the base of the neck (eyes). At some point her, an extra pinch twist somewhere may be necessary to hold the head upright. The horns is an inflated piece of black 260, twisted in half and loked to the top pinch twist. Curve them. Draw nostrils on the front of the lobes of the heart Use what`s left of the brown and an inflated white to make the body (a 3 or four bubble birdbody will do). The arms and legs are made of browns, hands and feet (hooves) made with black I realize these instructions are somewhat sketchy, but feel free to mail me with additional questions MMMMMmmmmmmooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH Jan The Trekkie Twister
