Permanente Marker:
PRO - they look fabulous on balloons
CON - they stain my hands and gloves
PRO - they stay on the balloon
CON - when the balloon goes down the marker comes off

Dry Erase Markers
PRO - they look ok on balloons
PRO/CON - they easily rub off the balloons
PRO - they don't stain my hands like Permanente Markers

Paint Pens

Help me out I have never used them


In my experience I prefer to use Permanente markers, yes they stain my hands 
but with practice I have learned to keep the marks on the balloon and not my 
hand.  Same for the dry erase I don't need to worry about mistakes that I 
might have to rub off, practice makes perfect there for I use Permanente 
marker.  I would rather chance staining my self and clothing with a marker 
rather than have something that will rub off on a child's hand.  This is 
just my opinion.  Please help me out with pro's and con's for paint pens.
