Subject: 2 heart butterfly sculpting

Sometimes, the most obvious things are right under my nose and I don't think
of them for the longest time. :-(
Yesterday, I transferred an idea from one sculpture to another. I thought it
made a big difference. Here's the idea, just in case you haven't thought of
it either:
I make a little butterfly using 2 six-inch heart balloons. Usually, I just
inflate them, tie the knots together and build a body out of a 260 wrapped
around the middle.
Yesterday, I had the thought to sculpt the wings just a little. I gave the
bottom lobes of the hearts balloons a squeeze so they would be a bit smaller
than the top lobes. I think it really made a big difference. And to think
I've been making that sculpture for almost 20 years and never thought to try
that before. Doh!
Little things can add up to make a big difference!
