I use a PO box.  No client in the world can pay me enough to find out where
I live.  If I meet the public, it is on MY terms, not theirs.  This saves on
hassles from irate clients, people who think it's funny to harass clowns,
etc.
I don't even put my address next to my home number in the phone book.  Just
the city.  I have friends who don't even list their home number in their own
names.  They use their wife's maiden name.  That way they can immediately
identify phone salesman, just by who they ask to speak to.
