Hi,

Tim McConeghy, Lord of Latex. I just recieved and read through T's
catalog. Did you know he gives away 5 of his pumpos to people lucky enough
to have their customer number hidden in his catalog and determined enough to
read through the whole thing to find it? Well I only found three numbers so
far but I did notice something else I just had to share.
George Sands' "Encyclopedic Balloon Modeling Course" 1 and 2. Now
I met George about 4 years ago and he told me he had written one of the
first books on balloons out there. I am a sceptic and shined him on but, lo
and behold, there it was. He told me he was approached by a man who wished
to learn balloons and wanted George to be his instructor. Mr. Sands agreed
on the condition that this fellow keep precise notes which George would
review from time to time to ensure the bargain was upheld. After George had
dispensed a great deal of knowledge he collected the notes and told the man
that classes were over. Not long after with a bit of editing the notes were
published as Mr. Sands' first book.
I wish I had thought of that. My own book, soon to be my first,
will not quite make it for Balloonarama this Saturday. It should be done
next week and I will definitly have it for T&JAM.
Remember you are the best twister in your socks.
