Subject: Pop twists and other things that are driving me batty

I'm trying to learn pop twists and I can't seem to do one without having my
entire balloon going pllrrrrffffttttttttttttttt.
ARGH!!! Second, I'm trying to learn how to put little bubbles inside my
sculptures..Again....ARGHHHHH!!!
I get the ball in there just fine, but when I try to tear off the bubble, my
balloon invariably goes plllrrffffft again...and again... and again.....

HELP!? anyone out there that can give me some help???? TIA
