Hello all ! I've been on the list for a month or two now and figured it was
a good time to introduce myself and contribute at the same time. I'm an
amatuer twister near Chicago and looking forward to the convention in March.
I'm looking forward to meeting fellow balloon enthusiasts and learning lots
of new things!
There are as many places to take your balloon figures as there are children!
If you have kids of your own, send them to school. They make great rewards
for the teachers to hand out for kids being quiet, reading or homework done
well. They make great school or birthday party treats. Your local hospital
may let you donate them to sick children too. If you still have some left,
maybe try donating them to decorate a senior center or nursing home near
you. I know there are kids at my childrens' school who still stop me in the
halls to hug me and thank me for the balloons I bring. Makes my day ! :)
