(again an original, i think)
as always reply with any problems in queries.
start with a fully inflated 260Q well burped (such an ugly phrase)
tie off and then create a 2-3 inch bubble followed by a 1 inch pinch
twist, a 1 1/2 inch bubble for the head and a 1/2 inch pinch twist.
twist this last bubble well as it will form an open end and then split
twist it to form two eyes. make these first bubbles hard by squeezing
air into it just before tying.

now form a 1/2 inch spacer and a 1 inch pinch twist
(again well twisted as it will form an end)
now start from the other end of the balloon and tie a knot in the
nipple. form a 1 inch pinch twist with this knot.
then, bringing the two most recent 1 inch pinch twists together lock
twist the large bubble about 1 1/2 inches up from the pinch twists to
form a * shape
now halve the large bubble and twist at the joint just formed.
pop the spacer bubble and join the two halves at the joint between the
wings and the pinch twist in the body.
to complete add a happy smile on the head and two =95=95 eyes
note:
if the wings pop (don't worry it gets easier) you can take the
body and explain that this is the caterpillar as you add the wings
this model looks best on a stick.

I Have just returned from a trip to Las Vegas, where we were treated to a
Dinner/Magic show. Great food, Great Show..The performer was Fielding
West. After all his tricks he swallowed a white 260. I read about it on
this list but I had not seen it done. I squeemished the whole time thinking
the balloon was going to pop in his mouth BUT it did not and he Swallowed the
WHOLE thing..and then talked funny after that...He was great.. Vivian
