Okay, so you both want to give the other more than they want to take. 
Simple - put that number down on paper, and send it off to -  a 
favorite church, charity, social organization, political lobbying 
group, animal shelter or some other party that you want to help. 
They'll be glad of the money, and the two of you earning that money 
will have what you're comfortable with.

Whatever you do, don't squander this spontaneous generous impulse!
