Hi,

Tim McConeghy, Lord of Latex. I prefer to grasp the cricket by the
head with my left hand and the thorax with my right... Oh!!! HeHeHe... You
meant a balloon cricket!
This could be a cricket or a grasshopper. Inflate a brown 260
leaving a 6inch tail. Twist two 1inch bubbles for lips followed by a 2inch
bird body. Twist a 2inch bubble followed by a 1inch pinch twist. Twist
another 2inch bubble followed by three one inch bubbles for a pop series.
Twist another 2inchbubble followed by a 1inch pinch twist. Twist one last
2inch bubble and lock to the base of the bird body. After the pop this
should resemble the head and two bent antennae. Inflate a second balloon
leaving 6inches of tail. Release air from the first balloon to allow for a
inch neck and tie on the second balloon. Twist a 2inch bubble followed by
three 1inch bubbles for a poppseries. Twist a second 2inch bubbles and lock
to the neck. Twist a 1inch bubble followed by a 1inch pinch twist. Create a
second set of legs with another 2inch bubble three 1inch bubbles and yet
another 2inch bubble lock twisted back to the pinch twist. Twist a 1inch
bubble then use the remaining balloon to create a bird body approximately
6inches long. Inflate a third and final balloon leaving a 6inch tail. Twist
a 2inch bubble followed by a 1inch pinch twist. Twist a 3inch bubble
followed by two pinch twists. Twist a 5inch bubble followed by a pinch
twist. Twist a 1inch bubble and secure to the front of the 6inch bird body.
Twist a 1inch bubble followed by a pinch twist. Twist a 5inch bubble
followed by two pinch twists. Twist a 3inch bubble followed by a pinch twist
and end with a 2inch bubble. Wedge the two 5inch bubbles into the 6inch bird
body to finish the hind legs. Wings may be created by inflating a clear all
the way to the end. Burp off an inch tie the ends together. Divide in half
opposite the knot and twist together then attach to the pinch twist above
the second set of legs. Overlap the inner sides of the loops to help the
wings lay down. Don't forget to pop the front legs and antennae apart.
Remember you are the best twister in your socks and if you don't
like this design, I just made it up.
