I had a kid afraid of me on Saturday and he wasn't sure what he wanted
(talking to his Dad's kneecap, you know the type) so I asked if I could make
him something special. I made him a viking hat (with horns) and told him
would make him a brave warrior. He trotted forward to get it and his grin
was a delight. He then asked if he could have a sword so I made him a two
balloon twisted broadsword. I thought it was a one-off but the same thing
happened with a girl on Sunday. Made a princess hat and the broadsword with
goldenrod and purple to make it a "princess sword".
(broadsword= two 260's fully inflated but soft. twist nozzle ends together
with 1" bubbles then 3 " bubble in each and twist together for handle then
3" loop twist in each for guard then spiral remainder together and lock end
with two small bubbles.)
Sometimes I will make something for a kid, either because they are shy
or they did something really nice, (like letting littler kids go first), or
because I want to show off. I promise them that they will have the only one
of that sculpture today and I stick to my promise.
