Subject: New Flower technique?
Date: Thu, 21 Dec 2000 17:07:38 +1100

Hello lists,

While playing with an eight petal flower (two colours twisted into four
loops and joined together), I noticed that if I put the loops of the first
colour on top and the loops of the second behind them, I got a three
dimensional effect. It was also simpler than trying to get the eight loops
to lie in the same plane.

Next I tried this with a standard six petal flower. I put every other petal
on top or behind the next one. The effect is noticeable but nothing to make
any better than the standard flower.

Explaining things clearly and concisely is not my strong point. I will try
to post a picture to the Photo section.

Meanwhile, Happy Christmas to everyone. May the wind always blow at your
back.
