I'd suggest your starting with Larry Moss' "Twisting History" and the WAY
COOL
Gang's "Totally Way Cool Balloons." Together, these books span the distance
between beginner - intermediate, and touch on a few advanced ideas. Most of
the
sculptures can be done inside two minutes, and Larry's Bird In A Gilded Cage
is a
neat way to incorporate weaving techniques into a fairly quick offering (I
can get it
done inside 4 minutes now).

If you want to expand on your weaving skills, try "Attack of the 50' Demon"
by Larry
Moss. Great ideas for using hearts are included. This is a CD-ROM
publication, and
has some great video footage.

Tremendous detail ideas for making faces at (er, I mean of) your friends and
clientele
can be obtained in the "Balloonicatures" CD-ROM, also by Larry Moss.
Excellent
instructions and easy to follow video footage will have you wowing your
audience in
no time. I have incorporated a lot of the techniques into my storytelling
and restaurant
work with great success!

Hope this helps.
