First of all this job involved a good number of school shows, which I was paid very well for, I was also compensated for my time and materials to make the extra balloons to take to give to children after the show. There were too many kids to even begin to twist for them individually, so the kids were entertained, got a balloon and I made a lot of money. You should never assume. There are always exceptions, I would prefer to twist for a few people and entertain as I twist, but there are some cases where it pays better to do a show to entertain a good number of kids, twist something during the show, and assure them that everyone will get a balloon after. As a matter of fact, school shows pay much better than any restaurant job, or other type of party I have had. If you want to make a living in this business, that is a great venue to get into.
