>I rarely post, but thought I'd throw out a few comments regarding the pumps
that I use. I have two pump-o's(my daughters both used to perform w/
me...then they wanted real jobs), they are about 8-10 years old(the pumps,
not the daughters). Other than lubricating the pumps with break-free, they
have been great. I also have a pogo pump(had it about 6 yrs) which I use so
I can be mobile when I perform at my restaurant gig(I attach the pump to my
body using large rubber bands looped together. I also have a balloon
buoy(battery operated), which is very noisy and doesn't get used
much(because you can't regulate air flow)...usually use it only at gigs
requiring low numbers of sculptures.
One of the very kool things about the T-Myers pumps, besides needing no
electricity and are very light weight, they make great conversations
pieces...people are just so intrigued at how they work....
One final note, the pumps can be transported with high resilience fabric
carriers that T sells for a nominal charge, they offer protection for the
pump as well as the tip(very important)....am most delighted with these
products...T..thanx again!
