Date: Sun, 12 Jul 1998 01:59:23 -0400 I'm so glad that somebody else has had the same problems! I am making it a rule that I will not accept work outside... not down here in 90+ temperatures 9 months out of the year! Will it restrict me? Maybe, but it just isn't worth it. I 'm getting a bumper sticker that says, "Clowns do it in the shade!!" <grin> BTW where are you? Penny Web page designer/collectible toys collector/dealer/appraisal AKA "Belcro T. Penny, I can't tjank you enough for asking that question we have had a heat wave hear and it has been in the 80's to mid 90's every darn party was outside! we are above 7,000 feet and today I had it. I use freash balloons but they didnt last more that 5 minutes. the face paints were melting or drying up as I was trying to paint. It was horrible. I thought I'd get heat stroke. there was,nt a tree or blade of grass that gave shade. I've decided to tell parents that unless I can do the balloons in the house or garage or carport with shade I will not do them. I tried out the Old lady that swallowed a fly routine and it went soso especially with the heat. I thought that a new twist on this could be the ginger bread man story. Run.. run.. fast as you can! Well at this point I'm running for air conditioning! I will try the cooler thing but it seems like alot of extra work. I still think asking nicely to do it inside might be alot easier. Thanks to all who gave suggestions
