Re: Walk For Life --- I worked one a couple of years ago in Long Beach,
Calif. You need to get more information from the person who contacted you
such as the time the walk begins and ends and which end of the route they
want you to work. They probably have a good idea of what they want you to
do. This is a charity and everyone that I know of donated their time so
don't expect payment unless you are being sponsored by someone who is
underwriting the expenses of having you there. (Just come out and ask them
if you are in their budget or if they are asking you to donate your time.)
At the one I worked I did walk-a-round for a while and as the walkers
finished I made balloons for anyone who asked. Actually, come to think of it
several wore my hats while they walked also. It was a good experience and
the people were great. Hope you decide to do it.
