Subject: Balloon HQ Guest Columnists

Howdy all,

I'd like to (unofficially) release a new feature of
Balloon HQ.  Eleven-year-old Stacey Schmude has 
stepped forward to contribute a monthly balloon column, 
her first installment can be found at:

Her column comes complete with a self-introduction and 
some examples of her balloon figures... I urge everyone 
to take a look!

You'll also find Larry Moss' articles on The Power of 
Inflation in the guest columnist area (formerly located
under 'outside bhq' area of the Highlights section.  In
the future, we'll add links to cool online write-ups by
BHQ contributors.  (Bruce Kalver's B&D pump modification 
tutorial comes to mind).


Otherwise, some of you may have noticed some cosmetic
changes to the Balloon HQ Photos pages.  Don't worry, no 
photos have been removed, they're all just getting
shuffled around a little (photos shown by artist, artists
now listed alphabetically).  In the meantime, you'll notice that
no new photos have been _added_ either.  We're still switching
gears, as we compensate for changes in photo/contest administration
staff.  Let me assure everyone that has submitted pics in the
last month or two that we _do_ have your images and they _will_ be
added to Balloon HQ's photo gallery.  I just wanted to say thanks
to everyone for their understanding, as we try and cope without
David Graves and Terrie Basko.    :-)
