Personally, most of my instructional materials are books.  I prefer them for
most of the small stuff. (1-4 balloons).  For larger designs, (5+ balloons)
I think that it helps to have a video.  It depends on the particular
designs, of course, but with complex 3-D sculptures I find it more helpful
to watch the twister rather than read a flat page.

I second the idea of having spiral-bound books, however!  Trying to hold the
folded pamphlet open with your coffee mug risks spilling your coffee.
