Slightly burp the greens Braid the two browns together, like you would for a candystick. Twist the top to lock the balloons together so that they do not become untwisted. Tie the greens in a loop. Twist each loop in half and lock both balloons together at that point. These are the four palm leaves. You can shape them by squeezing them a bit. Attach them to the top of the tree trunk. Several monkeys are possible. About two weeks ago, several monkeys were posted on the list. As you are making the monkey, loop the front legs over the tree before locking them (this is easier than having to slide the monkey over the tree. For a fast version, use a single brown for the tree trunk, and a single green. Tie in a loop, twist in half and twist each loop again in half. This will give you four smaller leaves. This version looks nice on a standard hatbase as well. Hope this helps, Jan aka The Trekkie Twister
