Hello all~

My wife is a buyer and deals with ad's all the time be them TV, Radio or
whatever. Your friend made a MAJOR MISTAKE!! He got 2 parties, when for
two hour worth of work he would have recieve well over 2,000 dollars
worth of FREE air time and reached a MUCH GREATER audicence!! The
dealership offered him a much better deal then you think. Price a radio
spot some time, see what their market share is, they will reach a lot
more people then you think.

also something to think about on the dealerships side of things; They
have a BUDGET, they could not go over their BUDGET, on entertainment, so
they offered ADVERTISMENT, which costs a MINT! When was the last time you
heard a twister, get air time??? How many people does a local station
reach??? I would work for free, for air time and I think most people
would agree with me. When in doubt, call a station and see what it costs
and how many people they reach  (for the record, if you what to reach the
most people on air, get your ad at 730 am!)
