Good for your friend! We should stick to our guns when it comes to being paid for
our services. Now, there is nothing wrong with "barter", which I use from time to
time, so let's not jump down the throat of the dealer. But if it's the money he's
after, he was completely right to expect to be paid as agreed.

BTW, I alwyas require that my name be used with any promotion I am involved with.
It's in my contract. Not just "A balloon artist" or " a magian will perform", but
MY NAME must appear. Had that been in the contract, the dealer would not have had
that as a bargaining chip; it would have already been a part of the arrangement.
