I am the one who started this whole issue, and it reminds me of the time 
Denny's, spent a fortune remodeling their new restarant which had been there 
at the same location for 300 years.  Just after remodeling they wanted a 
grand re-opening, and asked if I could come inn for TWO Saturdays from 10 am 
tilll 3 pm doing ballon twising.  When the issue of fees came up, they said, 
Oh no, we are not going to pay you, there is no money in the budget, we just 
want you to work for tips, and hand out cards.  Well an hour later another 
outfit called me, and paid me a VERY LARGE SUM to perform that same time 
slot.  After 22 years in this business, practicing every day, and they want 
me to come to a GRAND OPENING and display my skills
for free, just after spending tons of money remodeling.!!!!!!!I think NOT, 
Mr. Denny's restarant.
