I actually posted this before, but it didn't make it to the list, together
with live update #3 that never got to the list. I was having mail sending
problems over there.

Here is the list of winners:

Small catagory (1 balloon)
1. Sean Rooney (spiral)
2. Hans Siemons (Monkey on a tree)
3. Brigit Osborne (Funny thing with leaves all around it)

Medium Catagory (1 meter by 1 meter)
1. Tom "Bibo" Saeys (Car with guy and dog)
2. Jan "trekkie" Twister (robot)
3. Thelma Levett (Car with rabbits)

Large catagory (2,5 by 2,5 by 2 meters)
1. Guido Verhoef (grizzly bears on water)
2. Iris van Valen (Neptune)
3. Niko Fric (Parrot/bird)

Stage Competition
1. Tom "Bibo" Saeys
2. Guido Verhoef
3. Atchoum

European Entertainer of the year
Guido Verhoef

The modeling competition figures were judged by judges, the stage
competition was 2/3 judges and 1/3 the audience.

And the most import award of the evening went to Marvin L. Hardy at the end
of the gala.

"A special award for a lifetime of sharing and entertaining! Thanks for all
the balloon magic!"

And I want to thank everyone who was there! The atmosphere was great again,
the workshops were excellent and the balloon art was elevated once more to
higher standards, we saw some great performances both on the gala night and
the stage competition! All in all a good reason to do it again next year.
