I got paid from the resturuant and also got the tips
too. They called me Thursday night..asked me to work
from 12:30-900pm of course it was mothers day and I
was thinking well I have 5 kids too and need to make
it worth my while if I am going to do this... so I
quoted them a HUGE amount.. they said "no sorry too
much (they thought minimum wage, yeah right buddy!
LOL).. I said Ok thank you anyhow and we then hung up.
Then I called a couple friends that twist/paint in the
area and they said that I was resonable with the
amount but maybe offer to do it for less hours at a
less amount.. so I called them back and said "what is
your budget" they told me 150.00. I said OK what kinds
of hours were you looking at then? he said 5-9pm so I
said I can do it for 4 hours at that rate but I also
want to be able to work for tips too. They said not a
problem... so I got paid a little less then regular
but got to make tips on top of the payment from them
and they said they wanted to use me again and will be
calling for a possibility of working there on a reg
basis too!  
YEAH!!

p.s I didnt do anything for this... it was word of
mouth. I havent done any advertising but handing out
business cards at parties and grand openings and being
in the yellow pages (the last one in the book with a
one line ad that has my company name is all)
