Does it have to be 260s? A couple of yo-yo twisted bee bodies make great
wheels. (Yo-yo twist: make an apple, then twist it in half. You have what
looks like a yo-yo or two wheels.) The body of the car can be made with
just about anything. I usually do it with a 6" heart.
Here's a very simple version of the car that I have on my "Attack of the 50
Foot Demon" CD:

The picture isn't exactly what I described since I used all hearts instead
of bees, but it's what I have at my fingertips right now.
Now, to make it even better I have a suggestion that I know Ann can pull
off. Everyone listen up. You may want Ann's help. Race cars are always
covered with signage for the car's sponsors. There's a huge number on them,
and all sorts of identifying marks. Make race car imprinted balloons, so
when they're twisted, all of the identifying stuff is all over them.
For those that don't know, Ann does custom imprinting on all shapes of
balloons - not just round. She has the best prices I've seen for printing
on 260s. So aside from the race car idea, a know a lot of people have
asked about animal prints or just putting your name on 260s to twist and
hand out. Check out her site:
