I do understand your plight.
I too had the same problem for my first ever wedding
decor. It was so windy
that I had a tough time putting things around. By the
end of the day I was
completely tensed up and was on my nerves getting
things straight. The only
luck I had was that the bride and groom were delayed
for almost 1 1/2 hour
and I did manage to get almost all the decor up, but
not to perfection and
not to what I had really planned to do.
I was very upset and couldn't sleep a wink that night,
instead of being so
tired. The tension made me more tired. I am never
tired doing a decor.
On the next evening when the groom called me up and
thanked me for the
wonderful job, I had peace of mind. Though I knew all
was not upto the
mark, but if the concerned party likes your job then
you know that you were
not that bad and should not feel too let down.
And remember you always learn from mistakes.
On the decor day I had firmly decided that I will
never do a decor at that
venue again. But after two days when I was cool, I
recollected what went
wrong and decided to go about the decor in a different
way. Like making
columns /arches only on the pathway with a firm base.
Now I know if I get to
do a decor for the same place I can give an insight to
the concerned party
the drawbacks of any other balloon decor (if they have
anything in mind)
besides columnes/arches.
Hope the thought that you are not alone makes you feel
better.
Tod.
