I guess this will not be new, since I`m sure somebody before me must have come up with this one. But anyway, here it is. A while ago, Ralph Dewey showed me how to make a cat`s head out of a Geo-blossom turned inside out. By squeezing this head, it becomes a kind of ape head, which I used to make a General Urko figure for a big Planet of the Apes fan. (For those who now have the audacity to say `General WHO`, you really should review your classics, what with the new milennium and all...) Anyway, here goes. Take a 6 inch geo blossom. Turn it inside out. You now a sort of Y-form. Inflate just a bit. You now have a lottle oblong ball with two pointed ears on top (this is the cat`s head) Squeeze one side of the cat`s head. The other `ear` will be forced outward, and its shape will change. Release it. You now have a ball with a nose-and-mouth shape protruding from it. If you pluck at it, it will become larger and form an actual ape-like snout. For the planet-of-the-apes figure, give it a standard human body. For General Urko, I put the figure on a 360 horse, and made another human figure. I made a net by tying together uninflated 160s in a crisscross pattern. the human figure goes in the net and is attached to the horse with a uninflated 160. (The horseman...sorry...horsemonkey...is dragging the captive human behind him) You can use the head for a regular monkey, or even a very ugly person, I suppose... Jan The Trekkie Twister
