I wouldn't want anyone to assume that since highly trained divers use very
specific helium/oxygen mixtures for very deep or prolonged dives, that
helium is safe to inhale from a balloon in your living room. That would be
akin to saying that if surgeons use botulism toxin to treat very specific
conditions that its okay to eat that stale dated, bulging, bubbling can of
spaghetti sauce you found in the back of your larder.
The effects of gases on the body at 100 feet below are significantly
different than at the surface.
On another note, previous to Twist and Shout my best effort at a parrot
was the standard parrot in a hoop. I am currently working on a 4 foot parrot
with woven blue/yellow/green wings, eyes from Amazing Patrick, beak
conceived after a Steve McDonough Taz lesson mixed with a Flash Stillman
cartoon.and a tail all of my own.(well actually I am tail-less, the tail is
on the bird) I'll post a pic and a link when I get it finished.
