Subject: TJam reports
To: <balloon@balloonhq.com>
May I make a request from one (that being me) who is not able to attend TJam?
Please keep your reports concise and to a reasonable length. While the excitement will no doubt be wonderful, too many "me too" posts, as has happened in previous years, drive me bananas. Once someone has given a review of something, let it be unless you have something of detail to add. By all means post good stuff, but keep in mind that we don't need a full listing of every event in every post along with a review of everything and everyone you met and every jam - I hope you get the idea.
I say this not to dampen enthusiasm, but to redirect it. Teach us some of the new balloon stuff you learned, or new approaches to crowd control, or fun new lines or patter - something we, The Miserable Wretches Who Can't Go, can use.
As in years past I expect an outpouring of postings, but I hope that I can spend time learning stuff rather than sighing about the great time and great people I missed...
Richard (already sighing...)
